Industrial Production Grew by 0.6%
In January-June of this year the volume of industrial production in Azerbaijan amounted to 14 billion 750 million AZN, which was 0.6% more than in the same period of 2015, the State Statistics Committee.
The volume of non-oil industrial production in H1 increased 2.4%. In the oil sector production increased 0.4%.
From the beginning of the year, the production of food products increased by 4.5%, cigarettes - 17.2%, textile goods industry - 3 times, metallurgy - 5.5%, finished metal products - 9.4%, and electrical equipment - by 2.1 times.
At the same time there was a decrease in the output of certain sectors of the processing industry: the production of beverages decreased by 8.2%, clothing - 4.2%, leather, leather products and footwear - 76.4%, chemical products - 16.1%, construction materials, etc. - 23.5%. ----08D

According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars.
