Manat monetary base has expanded last month by 0.5%
Manat monetary base at the end of November 2013 amounted to 10787.7 million manat, increasing the reporting month by 55.5 million or 0.5 percent.
According to the Central Bank, since the beginning of the year the monetary base expanded by 272.7 million or 2.6% and over the past 12 months - by 1441.7 million or 15.4%.
Monetary base is the amount of cash and cash commercial banks deposited with the Central Bank as required reserves. With this money the Central Bank fulfills its obligations to commercial banks and the government. -15B -
