Ministry of Finance Sells Another Bond Package
Tomorrow at Baku Stock Exchange an auction will be held for the sale of government bonds for a total amount of 20 million manat.
According to the BSE, the bonds are placed in uniform parts and will be repaid after 6 and 12 months.
This year, the Ministry of Finance in order to cover the expected state budget deficit has issued short-term and medium-term bonds worth 400 million AZN and 500 million US dollars. For three months they placed a small part of them. The manat bonds guarantee income not less than 7.5%, and the dollar bonds guarantee 3.5% per annum. ----- 08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
