Number of Payment Cards Serviced in Milli Kart Increased 19%
As of July 1, 2012 the total number of active payment cards issued by the Processing Center Ltd. Milli Kart amounted to 228,000 units. This is 37,000 or 19% more than recorded at the end of last year.
As reported in the center, the number of POS terminals owned by the company grew by 75% to 5.6 thousand, and the total number of ATMs increased by 7 units to 327.
The number of banks issuing MasterCard payment cards increased from 5 to 6, and the number of those producing local cards increased from 3 to 4. In the first half of this year, production of Visa cards was performed by 8 banks.
