Offshore Company to Supply Fertilizers for JSC Agroleasing
JSC Agroleasing signed a contract with Solo Trade Corporation Ltd for the purchase of 92 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers.
The cost of the contract for the supply of 60 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizers amounts to 23 million 514 thousand 876 manat, the State Procurement Agency (SPA) reported.
JSC Agroleasing told Turan that it had been pre-planned to purchase 92 thousand tons of various fertilizers. However, due to the delay of full funding from the state budget, the subject of the tender was divided into two parts. In the second part of the purchase (other mineral fertilizer) SPA allowed to sign an agreement with the same company in the amount of $ 17 million 535.5 thousand.
The company Solo Trade Corporation Ltd is an offshore company and there is no information about it in databases.
The government subsidizes 70% of the cost of fertilizers to farmers from the state budget. Fertilizers are also purchased through several private companies.
According to the State Customs Committee, in 2014 Azerbaijan was delivered 153.6 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers with a total customs value of about $ 75 million. ----08B
