"Opaque" Overhead Crossing on Ataturk Avenue
The Turkish construction company FI Inshaat started construction of elevated pedestrian crossings at Ataturk Avenue in the city of Baku. The cost of the crossing with the length of 84 meters was not disclosed.
The press service of JSC Azeryolservis at the Ministry of Transport told Turan, the transition will be ready for commissioning in the summer of this year. Transition is located on the part of the avenue, where a special need is felt for it: there is an alley there, and to the nearest traffic light there are a few hundred meters.
Note that the selection of a contractor for the construction of the transition was made in opaque circumstances. Turkish company has a representative office in Azerbaijan. On the Internet there is no information about this company. What is known is that the Ministry of Transportation works with her, at least since 2011. According to the tradition of such pedestrian paths opens the president of Azerbaijan. - 08B-
