According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2009-2012 the volume of imports of poultry meat in Azerbaijan declined from 34 thousand to 12 thousand tons. At the same time the annual consumption (about 105 tons ) remained at the same level. In 2012, egg production was 1226 million units ( 21.3 %). And last year, the volume of its production exceeded 1.4 billion.
