Life insurance in Azerbaijan requires detailed study and the insurers that specialize in it require a refresher course.
As stated in the Ministry of Finance, to this end, on November 13-15, local association of actuaries in conjunction with the International Association of Actuaries, the Committee of Actuaries Without Borders and specialists Finance courses will be held for life insurance and pension insurance. The courses will be lead by foreign experts in international standards.
Courses are free to the public by certified experts. Representatives of insurance and reinsurance companies, please contact the State Insurance Supervision Service Finance by email g.aliyev@maliyye.gov.az up to 11 hours on 7 November. -17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
