Since early year gas export from Shah-Deniz dropped by 10.8%
Gas export from Shah-Deniz field via the South-Caucasian Pipeline (SCP) keeps on declining.
According to the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee, from January to October 2012 3.3 billion cub.m. of natural gas from Shah-Deniz was exported via SCP.
Gas export decreased by 400 million cub.m. or 10.8% against the same period last year.

During 2011 4.5 billion cub.m, of natural gas was exported via the South-Caucasian Pipeline, down 400 million cub.m. against 2010. In 2009 gas export via this pipeline totaled 4.9 billion cub.m.
Natural gas extracted from the gas condensate field Shah-Deniz is exported via SCP. Gas is delivered to Georgia and Turkey. Turkish BOTAS company buys gas from the Shah-Deniz field for the eastern regions of Turkey, BTC Co buys this gas for the pump stations of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in Georgia and Turkey and Georgian Gas Corporation buys commecrial gas at the regional price for the Georgian local market. Gas from Shah-Deniz field is sold by Azerbaijan Gas Supply Company.-0--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
