Till end of 2013 Kazakhstan to create dry cargo sea company
The first dry cargo sea company will be created in Kazakhstan till the end of 2013, Kazinform reported quoted Askar Mamin, President of Kazakhstan Railway joint stock company (JSC), as saying at the II International Transportation Logistic Business Forum “Kazakhstan – New Silk Road” in Astana.
The project to expand the Aktau sea port will be compleetd in December 2014, the airport infratructure will be upgraded and during two years the transport logistic centres of A and B class will be created with involvement of private sector, he added.
“The transport logistic complexes are also created outside of Kazakhstan to consolidate and distribute the transit cargo flows and the centres of advancement of Kazakhstan export. The terminal infastructrue will be created in Lunyuingan port on the west of China and the projects in Central Europe, Baltic and Black Seas and the Persian Gulf are under consideration,” Askar Mamin added.
Mamin also reminded that 2,878-km-long highway Western Europe – Western China is under construction now and it will be completed in 2015.
Till 2020 over $60 billion will be invested into upgrade and development of the transport infrastructure and logistic assets.—0--

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
