Total Capital of Banks in Azerbaijan Increased in September by 2.7 %
Total assets of Azerbaijani banks increased in September this year at 481.6 million or 2.5% to 19,400.5 million manat. From the beginning, bank assets grew by 17.4 % and for the year to 4,084.8 million or 26.7 %.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, credit investments as of October 1 totaled 14,401 million manat , an increase in the reporting month by 2.4 %. Over the past year, lending to the economy grew by 30.1 %.
Deposits in banks in September increased 147 million or 2.4 % to 6237.4 million manat. This figure since the beginning of the year grew by 21.9 %, and for 12 months - 37%.
The total capital of the banking sector has increased in the reporting month by 83.6 million or 2.7% amounting to 3160.2 million manat. During the year the figure rose to 862.9 million or 37.6 %. - 15B -
