USD Exchange Rate over AZN 1.6 in Commercial Banks
The Azerbaijani commercial banks established the dollar rate at around 1.6 AZN per $ 1 on July 25.
Azerbaijan Central Bank has set the course 1.5724 AZN per $ 1. Commercial banks sell the dollar not less than for 1.6 AZN.
Most banks sell dollars in the range 1.61-1.63 AZN.
The lowest rate is at Nakhchivan Bank – 1.6010 and Bank of Baku 1.6060. -0-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
