What Will Be Spent on State Apparatus in 2017?
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on application of the Law "On State Budget of Azerbaijan for 2017".
It defines, among other expenses, the maintenance of the executive and legislative branches.
According to Turan, in general, in 2017 for the maintenance of the legislative and executive authorities 558 million 339 thousand 828 manat will be allocated.
The costs of the Presidential Administration will be 76 million 361 thousand 158 manat, the costs of the Milli Majlis - 23 million 940 thousand 764 manat, and the costs of the Cabinet of Ministers - 10 million 23 thousand 891 manat.
The maintenance of the MFA will amount to 9 million 963 thousand 208 manat, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism - 5 million 80 thousand 944 manat, the Ministry of Health - 2 million 111 thousand 158 manat, the Ministry of Education - 9 million 292 thousand 955 manat, and ASAN Khidmet - 21 million 165 thousand 309 manat.
In 2017 the Central Election Commission (CEC) will be allocated 2 million 338 thousand 626 manat. The maintenance of the district election commissions will cost 7 million 554 thousand 244 manat. AZN 6 million 138 thousand 794 manat will be allocated for the accuracy of the voters’ lists.
The Ombudsman's office will be spent AZN 1 million 898 thousand 344, and the Judicial Council will be spent AZN 646 thousand 920.
International activity and membership fees in international organizations will be spent 229 million 69 thousand 761 manat. Membership fees in the international financial and credit institutions and socio-political organizations will be spent AZN 55 million. International activity and other activities of this kind will be allocated AZN 20 million.
Military spending as a whole will amount to 2 billion 642 million 92 thousand 672 manat, including the Ministry of Defense - 1 billion 102 million 561 thousand 773 manat.
National security as a whole will be allocated 111 million 929 thousand 106 manat, including the maintenance of the State Security Service - 93 million 752 thousand 960 manat and the Foreign Intelligence Service - 18 million 176 thousand 146 manat.
The Ministry of Defense Industry will be spent 4 million 341 thousand 229 manat. The Ministry of Defense Industry for applied research in the field of defense and security will be allocated 2 million 642 thousand 144 manat.
Expenses for special projects and defense activities will amount to 1 billion 254 million 504 thousand manat.
The maintenance of the law enforcement agencies will be 927 million 537 thousand 843 manat, including MIA - 412 million 507 thousand 111 manat and Main Department of Internal Troops -152 million 564 thousand 939 manat.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations will be allocated 141 million 329 thousand 976 manat, the Special State Protection Service - 88 million 411 thousand 919 manat, the Prosecutor General Office - 48 million 62 thousand 832 manat, and the Military Prosecutor's Office - 10 million 34 thousand 033 manat. -71D-
