Winner of the June Contest, "I - Azerbaijani" awarded Apple iPhone and iPad Mini
The winners of the first phase of the national intellectual online contest, "I - Azerbaijani" that started on June 1 have been announced.
According to the organizers (Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan), long-term action is carried out within the framework of the "Year of information and communication technologies." The aim is to introduce and promote the national cultural heritage. Take part in the contest can be via the web site and the page www.azerbaycanliyam.az in the social network Facebook.
The report noted that in the first month were more than 10,000 participants, including residents of the regions. Among the winners, the finalists, there are members of Astara, Shamakhi, Khachmaz, Aghdam, Gazakh, Agstafa, Hajigabul and Kurdamir. Future intermediate finalists received prizes and were wished success in the Grand Final of the competition.
Under the terms of the contest, 10 winners every 10 days of the contest will receive a free netbook, 100 winners - 10 manat cards of the mobile operators Azerfon and Bakcell.
First place in the end of June took Gunel Agayeva (awarded a mobile phone Apple iPhone and iPad mini), 2nd place was taken by Amin Guliyev (Apple iPhone), at No. 3 Shahbaz Salmanov (iPad Mini).

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
