The pupils of the European School of Azerbaijan visited the guest of the leading local mobile operator Azercell.
According to a press release, the students of 9th class of establishments operating in Baku, visited Azercell. During the meeting, they were given information about the company and answer their questions. In addition, for the students organized a presentation on the topic of electromagnetic waves and their applications.
After the presentation, the young guests clearly demonstrates the application of this phenomenon in network GSM. The visit ended with students familiarization tour of the office Azercell. During the tour, students visited the department of information and communication technologies, as well as an information center SANTRAL. They were told about the different equipment installed in the center, and its functions. Along with this, the students also learned subsections ICT department.
It should be noted that Azercell collaborates with leading educational institutions of Azerbaijan and contributes to the development of students and the process of framing the world level.
Recall that Azercell has created the first in the country and the region test laboratory for 4G Network of the University of the Caucasus and the Nakhchivan State University. In addition, Azercell organizes a special program "Student Scholarship" to promote education of talented students.
The project "Barama", created by the company, has developed into a broad platform for innovative ideas of young people. Also, Azercell has specially released a promotional fare, designed for students "Telebe birliyi". Under the terms of the tariff students can communicate with each other for 1 kopecks per minute.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
