Kılıçdaroğlu condemns deportation of Azerbaijani journalist
The leader of the Republican People's Party of Turkey Kamal Kılıçdaroğlu condemns expulsion of the correspondent of Todays Zaman, citizen of Azerbaijan Mahir Zeynalov.
According to the agency Jahan, Kılıçdaroğlu said: "If the Prime Minister deports a journalist because of Twitter, it indicates the journalist’s courage and the fear of the politician."
According to him, politicians need not praise but criticism. Politicians that do not make conclusions of the critics cannot properly govern the country.
"Will the deported journalist not write again to Twitter? Of course, he will write and people will read it,” said Kılıçdaroğlu.
Recall that Mahir Zeynalov wrote on his page on Twitter, that Turkish prosecutors ordered police to detain individuals associated with the terrorist organization al Qaeda. However, police chiefs appointed by Erdogan refused to comply with this order. -05D04-
