
The 18D movement has been evicted from its rented office in the Narimanov district of Baku, according to Radio Azadlig.
On Monday, June 14 the office was visited by four police officers, who inquired about the activities of the movement and its participants. And on June 15, the landlord demanded vacating the premises, although he had no complaints about the execution of the lease.
The head of the movement Ruslan Izzetli informed that on 18 June the movement planned to announce the name of "the most authoritarian rector."
The movement, which brings together individuals with different views, has held a number of high-profile actions in support of the journalist Khadija Ismayilova, the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko and others in the recent years.
The police have refused to comment on the statement by the Movement 18D. -0-
