Ahmet Davutoglu on the possibility of normalizing relations with Armenia
Turkish Foreign Minister on the eve of a trip to Yerevan for a meeting of the BSEC, made several statements regarding relations with Armenia, as well as the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh conflict .
Concerning the probability of ratification of the Armenian-Turkish protocols on normalization of relations between the two countries, said that the main problem is not the protocols, and barriers in the mind that must be overcome, quoted Minister Agency Haberturk.
At the same time, he cited the example of a kind word, and remembered the slain journalist Hrant Dink.
The Minister further said that more than once discussed this matter with the Foreign Minister and President of Armenia and with the Azerbaijani leadership.
"These abstracts are simple and clear: Turkey and Armenia are neighbors and we want to have a good relationship with this state. But for the normalization of relations our two neighbors - Armenia and Azerbaijan should respect the territorial integrity of each other," said Davutoglu.
As for the prospects of Armenian-Turkish relations, the minister said that the representatives of the peoples of the two get along well and communicate around the world and in Turkey. "But then, suddenly arises between the two peoples the same psychological barrier that must be overcome," said Davutoglu . -02D-
