Alliance "Karabakh" : Talks with Armenia are meaningless
A roundtable discussion on "Nagorno Karabakh: who and what are we waiting for?" was organized on Tuesday at the International Press Center by the Alliance "Karabakh", uniting public organizations.
Representatives of public organizations within the Alliance , called the meeting Sargsyan -Aliyev in Vienna, "incomprehensible ."
Panelists agreed that the only way to liberate Karabakh is military actions, and any negotiations will be fruitless. From 1993 to the present day since talks have been unsuccessful , then why should we continue them?
The participants of the discussion also focused on the inefficient expenditure of defense funds. Most of the funds are misappropriated by officials , the soldiers are given only pennies, noted the panelists.
They criticized also the Minister of Defense Industry, Yavar Jamalov, who instead of defensive works builds for himself luxury estates, said the head of the association of war veterans, Firidun Mammadov.
The Alliance "Karabakh" also considers public diplomacy meaningless, calling members of such projects as "traitors of national interests."
The discussions resulted in the adoption of a resolution demanding to negotiate with Armenia on certain conditions.
Armenia should be given time to withdraw armed forces from the territories of Azerbaijan. If in the specified time the demand is not met , it is necessary to go to war, says the resolution.
The Azerbaijani authorities should withdraw from the occupied territories, or they should resign admitting their powerlessness .
The resolution called on the representatives of civil society not be involved in the projects of the "people's diplomacy" .
* Alliance "Freedom of Karabakh" was established in 2012 . This structure includes: Karabakh Liberation Organization , the Islamic Resistance Movement "Freedom for Karabakh" , members and veterans of the war. -05C04-
