Azerbaijan and EU will discuss protection of migrants
The protection of migrant workers’ rights, as well as their integration, will be discussed during the workshop for public officials of Azerbaijan in the country’s capital Baku between 5 and 6 May. The event is organised by the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument of the European Commission (TAIEX) in co-operation with the Institute on Human Rights of the country’s National Academy of Sciences.
The regulation of migration and the protection of the rights of migrants, in particular migrant workers, constitutes one of the most pressing issues of the day in Azerbaijan, said the event agenda.
