Azerbaijan Invites Armenia to Cooperate - Ilham Aliyev
Baku / 10.12.20 / Turan: A number of documents signed today will provide Azerbaijan with access to advanced industrial products of Turkey. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this at a press conference after the signing ceremony of documents between Turkey and Azerbaijan on December 10.
The unmanned aerial vehicle Bayraktar, a product of the defense industry, made great changes and played an exceptional role in the military successes of Azerbaijan. “The whole world once again saw the intellect and talent of the Turkish people and was once again convinced that Turkish industry is a developed industry,” Aliyev said.
«We were together in difficult times and we are together in beautiful, happy days today. This is natural." The head of state said that Turkey and its President supported Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people from the first hours of the war." The statements of the Turkish President were very valuable for the Azerbaijani people and a message to the whole world. The message was that Azerbaijan is not alone.
"We restored historical justice and put an end to the long occupation. The presence of a brother like Turkey inspired us, gave us additional strength, and we used force to liberate our historical lands from the occupiers," Aliyev continued.
“Today Turkey has become a world power. In many countries of the world, Turkey defends justice, protects the interests of oppressed peoples and restores international law. This is an example of independence and courage,” Aliyev said.
The President noted that after the construction of a new road to be built by Turkish companies to Shusha, they, together with Turkish President Erdogan, will go to this city.
"Today, specific projects were discussed with the Turkish President: construction of a road, railways, infrastructure projects." All these projects will be joint - Turkish and Azerbaijani companies from the implementation will breathe new life into the region. "
The President of Azerbaijan noted that a new cooperation platform should be created in the region.
"All the countries of the region participating in this platform will only benefit. There is a traditional Turkish-Azerbaijani-Georgian cooperation, there is Azerbaijan-Russia-Iran cooperation, Turkey-Russia-Iran cooperation. We can generalize all these platforms, uniting them into a single one. Armenia will draw the right conclusions from the war, renounce its unfounded claims and look into the future, they can take a place on this platform. We are open for this," Aliyev said.
The feud between the two countries must stop, we must close this page and put an end to this feud," he continued. -0-
