CEC Deprives Gular Ahmedova of Deputy Mandate
CEC today decided to take back the parliamentary mandate of Gular Ahmedova based on her appeal. The decision comes into effect upon publication in the press, according to the CEC.
Ahmedova was elected to parliament in the 2010 elections on the 32nd Khatai district of Baku. On September 28, she was removed from her deputy mandate due to publication of a video of her interview with former Rector of International university, Elshad Abdullayev, where they discussed the bribe for the election of Abdullayev as deputy. -06D-
