Ramiz Mehdiyev Comments on Elshad Abdullayev"s Charges
Head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev, responded the continuing scandal in connection with charges against him on selling seats to parliament. The State agency "Azertac" quoted Mehdiyev, who said, "The officials have expressed a clear response on the issue. I can only add that the persistent references to my name are a serious and thought provocation. The aim is to accuse the authorities of these dirty tricks and cause damage to their credibility. It should be noted, that such attempts toke place several times, but failed, because they were unfounded. The present case will not help either.
I can say confidently that representatives of the Presidential Administration do not have and can not have any relation to such a dirty story. With respect to such swindlers, as Elshad Abdullayev, they always try to hide behind the names of senior officials. These people eventually are brought to trial; this time we will not forgive them, no matter who they are," said Mehdiyev. -02D-
