Civil Society: Rehabilitation without Corruption
Baku / 30.12.20 / Turan: Most of the domestic lands occupied by Armenia were liberated as a result of 44 days of successful hostilities of our army.
At present, Azerbaijan has entered a new difficult stage in strengthening its military victories in international public opinion through political and diplomatic means.
At this stage, building a democratic society, expanding civic participation, increasing the effectiveness of governance, and effectively combating corruption can increase the political power of the state and raise its international image.
Having emphasized the importance of ensuring social justice and preventing corruption in the process of restoring the settlements liberated from the occupation, a serious need arose for professional efforts aimed at an accurate assessment of the conditions prevailing for our country and the implementation of the necessary work.
1. Preservation of the unique historical aura, historical architectural traditions and monuments of these settlements in the process of restoring the liberated territories;
2. An objective study of the scale of material damage to the population and the expectation of the principles of justice in paying them compensation;
3. The effectiveness of projects to restore communications and utilities and the rational use of public funds;
4. Accountability and transparency in the resettlement of the population to the restored settlements, as well as in the implementation of projects related to the solution of administrative-political, humanitarian and technical-food problems;
We decided to come up with an open civil initiative of civil society with the aim of organizing public control, discussions, discussions and monitoring, as well as preparing relevant proposals, submitting them to government agencies and the public.
A civil society representative, political analyst Nasimi Mammadli said the initiative was put forward by well-known representatives of the country's civil society. More extensive information about the initiators will be presented to the public in the near future. —0—
