Deadline for Delivery of Signature Lists of Candidates for Deputies
Baku / 11.01.20 / Turan: On the eve of the deadline for the submission of documents by candidates for deputies for registration. Mazahir Panahov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Electoral Management Commission, said on January 10 that a total of 2,416 candidates have expressed their desire to participate in the elections. Of these, 2,305 have been approved.
Candidate received 2,193 signature lists, of which 1,255 submitted completed subscription lists and other necessary documents.
As of January 10, 689 candidates have already been registered. Registration consideration will continue until January 17.
Extraordinary parliamentary elections will be held on February 9. –06D-
