Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov visited one of the military air bases to inspect the combat readiness of the Air Force. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence.
Defense Minister met with flight and technical staff, inspected the combat readiness of military aviation, its capabilities and efficient use, runway, training room, and the current state of the auxiliary buildings.
Minister of Defence has been shown the combat capability, practical flying, personnel training and the possibility of ground control station of new model of the UAV's of local production.
Minister of Defence has set the task for the Air Force command regarding to the flight practices and a training preparedness of military pilots in accordance with the plan.-0-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
