Deputies of the Milli Mejlis : "Thank you President and down with the opposition"

At today's meeting of the  Milli Majlis deputies praised the head of state in two ways - for the fact that Azerbaijan will host in 2015, the  first European Olympics, and for the fact that an agreement was reached with Russia on the termination of the lease term of  the Gabala radar station. On the first question speaker Oktay Asadov encouraging speeches, and  in the second  question he asked not to publicize the issue.

According to the Deputy Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party, Mubariz Gurbanli,   a note of the Foreign Ministry to stop the activities of information-analytical military base "Daryal" does not mean the deterioration of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Incidentally, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that all the tasks previously assigned to that object in Gabala, will perform the new Russian radar "Voronezh-DM" in Armavir,  in Krasnodar  area. Testing stations will complete by the end of December, and  it will be launched  in early 2013.

In their speeches deputies paid more attention to criticism of "destructive opposition." According to them (Ali Akhmedov, Sahib Alyev, Siyavush Novruzov, etc.),  on December 10, the day of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the  radical political speculators,  cooperating with Armenian politicians, brought to the streets  irresponsible youths "to spoil the image of the country which is getting better with every coming day."

Speaker Asadov, who reacted to the speeches, sad that it would be better to join together and work so that the number of Azerbaijani deputies exceeded the number of the Armenian deputies. " Thus,  in the Romanian Parliament there are 28 Armenians, and no Azeris , in Ukraine only 2 Azerbaijanis, despite more than 300,000 people live there, and so on." --17D—
