Eight religious radicals who attacked Azerbaijani Embassy in London detained
Baku/05.08.22/Turan: Eight people have been detained after the attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in London. The British media reported with reference to the London Police that there were no casualties during the incident, the investigation continues.
The police arrived on the scene at about 4:30 p.m. local time after receiving information that a group of people had broken into the Embassy.
The detainees are accused of illegally entering the Embassy building and damaging the building. There were no casualties during the incident, the fact continues to be investigated, police said.
The intruders are members of the radical religious group "The Mahdi Servants Union". This is a London-based organization of Shiite Muslims.
