Employee of the SSC detained on suspicion of fraud

Baku/29.05.18/Turan: Officer of the Shirvan city department of the State Security Service (SSS) Rovshan Agayev detained on suspicion of fraud. According to the press service of the SSC, in February 2018, while trying to import from Iran smuggled 1565,5 gram heroin and 500 tablets of methadone and methamphetamine were detained Mehman Agarzayev and Nariman Sadygov. During the investigation, a resident of Shirvan Khayal Abdullayev was also detained. At his home were seized 258 tablets of potent pregabalin medication. During the investigation, Rovshan Agayev, a member of the SSS, received a large sum of money from his mother Khayal Abdullayev to resolve the issue of his release. On May 24, Abdullayev was missing and is on the wanted list. It was reported that for the above facts a criminal case was initiated, during which Agayev was dismissed from the SSS and arrested.
