Europe introduces visa-free regime for Ukraine and Georgia
The European Parliament and the European Commission agreed on a mechanism for the introduction of visa-free regime for citizens of Ukraine and Georgia. According to Reuters, now is introduced simplified regime for trips of Ukrainians and Georgians in the EU. A week earlier it was reported that the EU conditionally approved the introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukraine. At the same time it clarified that the decision will come into force only after a mechanism will be agreed emergency termination.
In early summer, Die Welt reported on the concerns of European countries in connection with the provision of the citizens of Georgia, Ukraine and Kosovo the possibility of visa-free entry to Schengen countries. It was a closed meeting in the German Parliament, during which the country's Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière presented data on foreign criminal groups. The official announced the statistics on organized crime in Georgia, where, according to him, this issue took the national scale. -02D-
