Hraparak: Masis Mayilyan and Samvel Babayan's entry into Russia is limited for 5 years
Baku / 03.03.20 / Turan: On March 2, unofficial information was received that the Russian authorities limited the entry of Masis Mayilyan and Samvel Babayan into the Russian Federation for 5 years. This was reported today by the Armenian publication "Hraparak".
The newspaper does not disclose the reason for this decision, as well as the source of information.
It should be noted that Mayilyan and Babayan act as a tandem in the upcoming March 31 "presidential elections in Karabakh."
Masis Mayilyan holds the post of “Minister of Foreign Affairs” in the government of the separatists, and Babayan is the former commander of the Karabakh forces.
Mayilyan is a candidate in the upcoming elections, and Babayan was deprived of this opportunity because he had not lived in Karabakh for 10 years.
If the newspaper’s information is confirmed, this can be regarded as Moscow’s desire for these people to come to power in Karabakh.
In this case, the chances of Araik Harutyunyan, considered the candidate supported by Yerevan, increase. -02D-
