Iran Wants to Participate in Restoration of De-occupied Territories of Azerbaijan
Baku / 10.12.20 / Turan: Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohamed Bagher Ghalibaf on Wednesday at a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that cooperation and connection of railway lines can be a priority, IRNA reports.
"Appropriate measures are being taken to develop bilateral relations. In this regard, cross-border cooperation and the connection of railway lines may be a priority," Ghalibaf said.
The speaker of the Iranian parliament noted that Iran and Azerbaijan have deep cultural and religious ties.
According to him, various potentials and opportunities available in Iran and Azerbaijan should be used for the comprehensive development of relations.
He also added that Iran is ready to participate in the restoration of Karabakh and adjacent territories of Azerbaijan. "Since Iran has experience in restoring war-affected territories, it is ready to participate in the restoration of Karabakh and adjacent territories," Galibaf stressed.-0-
