Iran's anti-Azerbaijani attacks will not remain unanswered - Ilham Aliyev
Baku/25.11.22/Turan: "Never before has Iran made such hateful and threatening statements against Azerbaijan". President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made the statement when answering the questions of the participants of the international forum on regional communications in Baku.
"We worked with three Presidents of Iran - Hatemi, Ahmadinejad and Rouhani, and for all these years there was no situation similar to the current one.
Never has Iran held two military exercises near our borders within a few months. There have never been such hateful and threatening statements against Azerbaijan," Aliyev said.
At the same time, he stressed that Baku will not leave these anti-Azerbaijani statements unanswered.
"We have always responded and will continue to respond to anti-Azerbaijani statements and actions. Therefore, we have also conducted exercises on the border with Iran, and we have demonstrated that we are not afraid of them.
We will do our best to protect our secular way of life and development, as well as the interests of Azerbaijanis residing in Iran. They are a part of our people," Aliyev said. -16D-
