Joint exercises of the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey
Baku/03.09.22/Turan: On September 5, Ioint exercises of the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey "TurAz Qartalı - 2022" will begin in Azerbaijan on September 5. Turkish planes, pilots and technical personnel arrived in Azerbaijan the day before.
Judging by the photo provided by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, these are two "Hercules" military transport aircrafts, three F-16 fighters and the same number of F-4 attack aircraft.
During the tactical exercises, the tasks of planning, interaction, combat coordination and search and rescue activities of the air forces of the two countries will be completed.
It is not reported how many combat aircraft will be involved from the Azerbaijani side. However, as a rule, the amount of military equipment of both countries is the same. --02B--

Economist Fazil Gasimov, who has been on hunger strike for 98 days, today requested the Baku Serious Crimes Court to dismiss the criminal charges against him. He stated that he is not involved with counterfeit money and that the case against him is politically motivated. His lawyer, Rovshan Rahimov, also petitioned for a change in his detention conditions, noting that Gasimov's health is severely deteriorating due to the prolonged hunger strike.
