Karabakh issue will be discussed at the OSCE Ministerial Council
Combating trafficking in drugs, human beings, cybercrime, human rights will be the main issues on the agenda of the 19th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting opening in Dublin on December 6. On this, as Turan reported from Dublin, declared the OSCE spokesman Frane Maroevic on the eve of the meeting.
According to him, the meeting will also discuss conflicts in the OSCE area, including the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement.
In this Maroevic said he did not have information about whether the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia will be held. Referring to general information about the meeting, he said that it will feature more than 50 foreign ministers and deputy foreign OSCE countries.
Maroevic also noted that at the present time, representatives of 57 countries of the OSCE work on individual documents and statements, to be adopted by the Ministerial Council. At the same time, he found it difficult to tell the number of documents that will be accepted, because "the documents are constantly arriving."
As noted Maroevic, OSCE Chairman stands not for the number of documents received, but their quality and importance.
Returning to the issue of Karabakh conflict discussion, Maroevic said, the Irish Presidency attaches to this issue "special attention." Ireland is trying to share their experience of conflict resolution, and thus contribute to the resolution of conflicts in the OSCE area. -04C -
