Court again refuses to release from custody activist of "Musavat" party N.Yagublu
The trial in the case of , Nigar Yagublu , youth activists of the "Musavat" party, continued today in the Absheron district court. She is charged in the case of an accident on August 25, as a result of which a member of the Assembly of the party "Musavat" , Aydin Adjalov died. At today's meeting spoke witnesses of the prosecution, mostly police officers.
After the break, the father of the accused, deputy chairman of "Musavat" party, Tofig Yagublu spoke. He said that after the accident, his daughter was treated in the "City Hospital" and was not able to testify. Medical certificate from a clinic was presented to investigation.
The lawyer Adil Ismailov, in turn, to exclude from the case the evidence obtained through wiretaps of Yagublu family members, because they were illegally obtained without a court order. The lawyer also pointed to inconsistency of the charges that Yagublu did not come to the court on the basis of oral summons. Therefore he considers unfounded the arrest of Yagublu on the basis of these statements about the alleged evasion the investigation.
The judge again refused to change the arrest with other forms of preventive measures, non-custodial. The process will continue on December 7.—06D--
