Khabib Muntazir’s statements do not have official confirmation - Musavat
Baku/16.11.19/Turan: The press service of the Musavat party issued a statement regarding the allegations made in recent days regarding the operation in Germany against persons accused of illegal migration from Azerbaijan to Germany.
There is no official confirmation of the detention during the operation of any of the representatives of Musavat. Allegations of this were first circulated by blogger Habib Muntazir. In particular, he named the head of the Musavat European Coordination Center Ilham Hasan, his “deputy” Mehdi Khalilbeyli, as well as activists Abdin Javadov, Rashad Mammadov, Elshan Abdullayev and Elchin Akperov.
In turn, Musavat clarifies that Mehdi Khalilbeyli does not occupy any position in the organization, and the other persons mentioned are not members of Musavat.
Moreover, Rashad Mammadov is not only not a member of the coordination center, but also has been campaigning against Musavat for a long time.
On the other hand, there is no official confirmation of their detention. Muntazir refers to a text that he presents as a document of the “Koblenz trial”. However, on this sheet there is no seal, signatures or other details.
In addition, most of what was written in the “document” was deleted, and it was not explained by whom, for what purpose or for what purpose it was hidden.
The Musavat party is interested in an objective investigation of the facts of illegal migration and the issuance of fake documents. If because of a German police operation an illegal activity of a member of the Musavat party is discovered, this person will be personally responsible for this. In addition, the Musavat party will take adequate measures against these individuals, the Musavat party said in a statement. –06D-
