Ministry of Defense Reacts to Critical Videos in Social Networks
Baku / 23.12.20 / Turan: By order of the Minister of Defense of the country, several commissions checked the conditions for the placement of personnel and living conditions in military associations in the combat zone and in the liberated territories. The inspections did not reveal any significant security problems. However, minor flaws were identified and immediately eliminated. Some officials who showed negligence in the performance of their duties and made mistakes were punished and appropriate measures were taken against them. This is stated in the message of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
In recent days, video frames have been circulating on social networks, damaging the reputation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and casting a shadow on the victory in the Patriotic War. At the same time, the relevant requirements of the law "On state secrets" are being violated, the message says.
The Ministry of Defense appeals to the parents and relatives of the military personnel, urging them to contact the leadership of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces not through social networks, but by telephone numbers operating around the clock: (012) 912, (012) 538-61-31, (012) 404-76-34. -0-
