Novruz Mamedov Unaware of Developments in World?
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Novruz Mamedov continues to delight his readers with original tweets. Today, he surprised everyone by stating that Western structures and policies again show double standards, which is reflected in the absence of Western criticism of the authorities of Armenia, where police broke up the mass protests of citizens in Yerevan.
"Look at how silent CNN, BBC, Guardian, Independent, Amnesty International, HRW, Freedom House and others are! Here they show double standards. And all this is because Armenia is a non-Muslim country. If similar happened in our country, they would have talked about it a month," Mamedov wrote in his micro blog on Twitter.
However, to agree with Novruz Mammadov is impossible, for all these international organizations and the media have criticized the actions of the Armenian authorities.
It seems that Novruz Mamedov did not know what was going on in the world or was just watching AzTV.
Both are bad indicators for a government official occupying such a high position.
