Novruz Mammadov - Christiane Amanpour is not a professional
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Novruz Mammadov continues to surprise by his arguments on the important socio-political events. Opening Statement microblocks on Twitter, he gives almost daily comments that cause a wide resonance.
The latest masterpiece by Mamedov was his assessment of the channel CNN, namely an interview of Emin Huseynov with the leading correspondent of the channel, Christiane Amanpour.
"For CNN it was the biggest event in Azerbaijan in recent years. Now they will make of Huseynov a hero, and Amanpour is necessary to honor the Nobel Prize," says Mamedov.
Then he gives an estimate of the level Amanpour: "You see how an objective and a great journalist Amanpour is?! She presented the international community the most important event in Azerbaijan in recent years. Finally she has found some Emin Huseynov, and talked to him for 10 minutes," ironically writes Mammadov.
From these statements only one thing is clear – Mamedov does not like CNN, but because of feelilng of patriotism, he has to watch these shoddy proframs.
A human rights defender Emin Huseynov was hiding for 10 months from arrest in the Swiss embassy in Baku. After the agreement of the Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhart with Ilham Aliyev, Huseynov was allowed to leave the country on the opening day of European Games and flew from Baku by plane of Burkhart.
For Novruz Mamedov it was an ordinary case.-16D-
