Political emigrants hold a rally in the Netherlands
The "International Association of truth and justice" and Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations in Europe held a protest action in front of the Parliament of Holland. According to the information form the Association, which brings together political refugees from Azerbaijan, picketers condemned the authoritarian regime in Baku and the continued practice of suppressing human rights and freedoms in Azerbaijan.
In addition, the protesters have drawn attention of Dutch MPs to corruption and extortion by the former deputy of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Gular Akhmedova, regarding it as a lack of democratic elections in Azerbaijan.
Therefore, the protesters demanded the dissolution of parliament and new democratic elections to the Milli Majlis.
Speakers also demanded the release of political prisoners in Azerbaijan, urging the international community to pay greater attention to the problems of Azerbaijan. Resolution of the action was transferred to the Dutch parliament. -05D04-
