Prominent Political Analyst Zafar Guliyev Died
The known Azerbaijani political scientist Zafar Guliyev, who led the analytical department of the website Minval.az, died of heart failure at the age of 62 in Tbilisi this morning.
Guliyev arrived in Tbilisi for a medical examination, where doctors diagnosed the need for open heart surgery. Guliyev did not have time to make a decision to have surgery or not. At night his condition deteriorated sharply in the hotel. The efforts of doctors to save his life failed.
Guliyev’s family members went to Georgia to deliver the body of the deceased to Baku.
