Russia will create a unified air defense system with Armenia and Kazakhstan
Moscow/19.11.13/Turan : Russia will form a united regional air defense system (NORAD) with Armenia and Kazakhstan, stated the Russian President Putin, on November 19 at the presentation ceremony of senior officers in the Kremlin. "We also plan to strengthen the unified air defense system with Belarus," according to the press service of the Kremlin.
The head of Russia believes that "such cooperation significantly increases the potential of the Russian defense and partners, and also serves to strengthen peace and stability in Eurasia."
They will expand cooperation with traditional partners and allies of Russia, primarily with the states - members of the CSTO, SCO, and CIS.
"This year, the Russian-Belarusian strategic exercises "West- 2013" were successfully held. Now is the time to create regional groupings involving Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan," concluded Vladimir Putin. -02D-
