The CE Committee of Ministers will control the decision in the case of on Ali Insanov
The CE Committee of Ministers took control of the execution of the decision of European Court against Ali Insanov, reads the reply of 22 September, sent Ali Insanov by William Hague, the chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the British Foreign Secretary.
On March 14, 2013 the European Court granted the petition of Ali Insanov for the right of a fair trial and torture against him. The European Court ruled that the Azerbaijani government should release Ali Insanov and pay him compensation 10,000 euros.
According to the lawyer Togrul Babayev, the ruing of the European Court is not fulfilled for four months. Therefore, Insanov appealed to the CE Committee of Ministers, which monitors the implementation of decisions of the European Court.
* Ali Insanov was arrested in October 2005 on charges of plotting a coup, but then the charge was replaced. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison for economic crimes. -03B04-
