Vasif Talibov re-elected head of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan
Baku / 24.02.20 / Turan: At the first session of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of the sixth convocation held on February 24, elections were held for the chair of this body.
On a non-alternative basis, Vasif Talibov was elected to this post for the sixth time in a row.
The elections to the 45-seat parliament of the NAR were held on February 9 in the absence of political competition. As a result, all elected deputies are supporters of Talybov - the absolute ruler of the region since 1995. –06D—

The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ceyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan, held talks in Almaty on May 10-11. The ministers welcomed the progress on the issue of border delimitation and the agreements reached in this direction, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. The foreign ministers and their delegations continued to discuss the draft agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
