Will Russia withdraw the 102nd base?
Yerevan / 30.01.15 / Turan- ArmInfo: " The case of Permakov" is intended to explain the Armenian, Russian and international community the reasons for the forthcoming withdrawal of the 102nd RMB from Armenia, said political analyst Saro Saroyan in interview with Arminfo.
On January 12 in Gyumri was killed the Avetisyans family of seven people. "Such terrorist sabotage, organized by the Russian special services, of course, had deep geopolitical reasons. I am convinced that this is only the beginning of a process that will go on increasing. It causes a major defeat in Moscow in the global confrontation with the West," says Saroyan.
The latest example of such changes analyst sees in Ukraine. After the capture of the Crimea, Moscow lost the rest of Ukraine, which rushed to the West.
Rapid reshaping the geopolitical boundaries inevitably affects the South Caucasus.
"Under such situation, the withdrawal of the 102nd base seems quite logical, and today Russia is facing a departure from Armenia, because the preservation of the Russian military base in Armenia geopolitically illogical," concluded the analyst. -02D-
