Alasgar Mammedli: Warning chiefs of police and prosecutors journalist - is not justified
Summoning a journalist of "Azadlig" newspaper, Natig Adilov, to the Chief Police Office and warning him by the police chief and city prosecutor is a return to the Soviet past, Turan was told by the expert for media, Alasgar Mammedli.
According to Mammadov, the prosecution should not express attitude to with the publications in the media.
"If any offense is seen in a publication, there must be appeal to court in a private prosecution, or appeal should be filed in the administrative and economic courts. The Prosecutor can not pursue a journalist. According to him, the prosecutor incorrectly interpreted Article 10 of the law on mass media, in which there are no "alleged" acts against Adilov.
The journalist is accused for writing in the newspaper and social networking, "it goes beyond what is permitted, demeans the state, casts a shadow on the country's achievements." -06C-
