Another group accused of involvement in the war in Syria is convicted
Today the Baku Serious Crimes Court chaired by Mirza Khankishiyeva announced a verdict for a group of persons accused of involvement in the fighting in Syria against the government troops.
The court sentenced Sanan Bahyshov, Ruslan Jafarov, Ahmad Hasanov, Maarifa Mardanov to 15 years in prison, Eldost Guliyev and Mamedshah Mammadaliyev - 14 years in prison.
They were found guilty of illegal possession of weapons and participation in illegal armed units abroad, terrorism. According to investigators, they fought in the grouping "Al-Nusra."
During the trial the defendants refused to recognize the court and give testimonies.-06D--
