Azerbaijani Accused of Killing Russian World Champion
Baku / 21.08.17 / Turan: An Azerbaijani named Allahveranov Anar Aliyar Oglu, born in 1992, was put on the wanted list in Khabarovsk on charges of killing the world champion in power lifting Andrei Drachev.
The murder occurred on the night of August 20 near a café in Khabarovsk. During the fight, the suspect dealt Drachev several blows with his foot on the head, and then finished him already lying on the ground.
The criminal fled from the crime scene. About the suspect it is known that he is an athlete and was engaged in boxing and fights without rules. Allahveranov's citizenship is not reported.
The cause of the conflict is unknown. It is noteworthy that the guards of the café security calmly watched the fight. -02D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
