Azercell employee supported «SITE Scientific Seminars» program
Along with Azercell Telecom, the leading mobile carrier of the country that contributes regularly to various projects aimed at educational development, skilled employees of the company also continue to provide their extended support in this field. Specialists from various departments of Azercell take part in seminars held in educational institutions over the country and share their theoretical knowledge and rich experience. This time an Azercell employee joined SITE Scientific Seminars organized by School of Information Technologies and Engineering (SITE). Javid Karimov, head of Products and Services Testing division gave a lecture in the event held on February 5 at ADA University. Javid Karimov graduated from the faculty of Automated Management Systems of Azerbaijani State Oil Academy and obtained MBA in Computer Sciences from Azerbaijani State Oil Academy and the University of Georgia. In the seminar “How does Azercell test its products?”, Javid Karimov shares his expertise on the topics, such as essentials and importance of software testing and principles of software testing. The lecturer also informed the audience about the types and stages of testing methods applied by Azercell in order to ensure high quality services for clients. A special after-lecture workshop was arranged in order to better understand the subject.
School of Information Technologies and Engineering (SITE) was established in 2012 with the purpose of preparing a critical mass of high-caliber IT specialists and engineers to meet the current requirements of country’s development priorities.
Azercell’s highly skilled professionals will continue to share their knowledge and competence with students and the youth through similar seminars, lectures and courses.
